think armagh rd was the cut off grew up on kilfenora rd kimmage went to school at st colombus school armagh rd crumlin maybe kimmage rd to armagh rd up the south side lol
I was wondering if somebody here could give me some information on the official border between Crumlin and Kimmage. I’d like to know exactly which roads are in which areas. I’ve found this is something that is always debated (sometimes loudly) so I’d like to maybe get an official map or document to settle it once and for all!
I’ve found there seems to be two conflicting ideas. One is that Sundrive road is part of the border between the two and that people living on that road always state that they live in kimmage. But the other is that the border is actually the kimmage road itself and all roads on the Superquinn are in Crumlin and those on the other side are Kimmage.
If somebody could even point me to a website containing this info it would be great.
Thanks.

I live on Cashel Avenue and the previous owners post says that it is kimmage but any time its in the papers its put down as Crumlin. That fact the Ben Dunne can say that his Gym is in Ternure confuses the thing even more?
Confused in Crumlin or Kimmage
hi wayne, i read your question with great interest and i must say a few giggles i was born and breed on stannaway road and for as long as i remember there was always a debate as to weather it was crumlin or kimmage, as far as i was concerned and still am stannaway road is kimmage, i like yourself would love to know the truth as to this day i am still debating about this. best of luck.
I was born on Bangor Road (definitely Crumlin) and we moved to St Martin's Park just off the Kimmage Road. As I remember, the street sign at the corner said Dublin 12 (Crumlin) although we always used Dublin 6 as our postal address. The OSI map marks the border between Crumlin and Kimmage as the Poddle River which makes St Martin's Park in Kimmage (and the sign should have read Dublin 6) and Poddle Park at the bottom (or top) of Bangor Road as Crumlin. I left there in 1972 so things might have changed since then. I think the postcodes have but I'm living in UK now (20 years) so I might be a bit out of date.
I lived on clonard rd my father said the postal adress was kimmage I used crumlin and he used Kimmage one side of clonardfrom kildare rd to poddle park down tonguefield to blarney psrk to ththe sundrive rd to the kimmage rd to kcr at the cross roads beside ternure and templeogueOriginally Posted by wayne040576
